Christen grew up in Eaton, Ohio and moved to the Cincinnati area in early 2023.   She joined the Lovins team shortly after, but she started her insurance career in 2017, thanks to her sister who pressured her into it. Turns out she had a knack for it as she loves getting to know her clients and helping them talk through their insurance needs. She is a die hard fan of both the Bengals and the Reds, and in her spare time enjoys camping and hiking.

Renee started in insurance right out of high school in 1978.  After working at a couple of companies in various departments, she settled with Lovins in 2000.   Through integrity and knowledge, she has built strong and trusting relationships with both her clients and fellow co-workers.  While she’s not working, you will find her enjoying time with her husband either at the bowling alley, the movie theater or beating him at a game of chess.

Lisa began in the insurance industry in 2000, the same year she started with Lovins. With a background in banking, it was easy for her to fit right in.  She knows so many of her clients on a personal level, experiencing life’s milestones along with them.  Her desk is decorated with an array of yellow smiley faces which is a reflection of her personality; always happy and smiling.   In her free time she likes to listen to music, read and spend time with her family and friends.

Tammy has worked in insurance since 1990 and joined the Lovins Family in 1998.  Dealing mostly with claims, she takes pride in being there for our clients in their time of need.  When not working, she loves spending time with her family.  She is an active member of her church and has a talent for making crafts. 

Karylanne became a member of our team in February of 2021.  She is the person that helps our new clients find the best possible rate.  She loves it when she can save someone money and get them better coverage at the same time so she will be determined to win your business!    She resides in Batavia with her husband and two children.  Outside of work she enjoys crafting and pretending to be a botanist.

Jill joined the Lovins team in 2016.  She enjoys the insurance industry because there is always something new to learn.  Born and raised in Cincinnati, she still lives in the area today with her two children Evan and Olivia.  When she’s not working, she loves watching her children play sports and taking them camping.

Michele (affectionately known by friends and family as Meesh) started at Lovins in 2017.  She came aboard eager to begin a new career and learn everything she can about the insurance industry.   She currently lives in Cincinnati with her husband Alex, their son Gryffin, daughter Eleanor and two dogs, Thor and Gracie.  In her spare time she enjoys camping, hiking and spending time with her family.

Davida has worked in insurance since 2012 and joined the Lovins team in 2023. She has a business degree from Transylvania University and was in banking for several years prior to insurance. She lives in Madeira with her husband, Joe, and their son Liam. Outside of work, you can find her on a soccer field either cheering on her son or rooting for FC Cincinnati!

Michalle began her insurance career when came she to Lovins in 2004.  Initially she started as an assistant for the Accounting Manager but has since taken the responsibility of assisting the entire Commercial Lines Department.  Whether it’s making sure things are being properly processed, sending out proofs of insurance or taking payments, Michalle enjoys helping people, both customers and co-workers alike.   She loves spending time with her family and has quite the collection of Precious Moments figurines. 

As the daughter of an insurance agent, Courtney technically began working in insurance at the age of 8.  It mostly involved folding papers and stuffing envelopes, but it seemed very important to her at the time.  When her father, Mark, became President at Lovins, she worked a few summers during school breaks and eventually in 2007 decided to make a career out of it.  Being a problem-solver, she enjoys helping both clients and staff work out issues to a positive end.  She currently resides in Cincinnati with her husband Jamie.  Together they enjoy traveling, dining and playing just about any type of game.  

Kathy began working in the industry right out of high school in 1985.  She joined the Lovins team in 1998 and her attention to detail soon made her a crucial part of the day to day operations. She was born and raised in Cincinnati and currently resides in Amelia with her husband, Scott.   She is a huge Cincinnati Reds fan so during the summer, you will likely see her at a game.  During the winter months she enjoys quilting and taking trips to Walt Disney World.

Mark attended Xavier University where he majored in Accounting.  After graduating in 1975, he immediately began his career in insurance.  Working for so many years as an independent agent has given him vast knowledge about the ins and outs of insurance policies.  In 1995 he decided to work for Ed Lovins and soon after became owner.  In his free time, Mark enjoys watching sports (primarily baseball), playing golf and dining out with friends and family.

Jamie has spent the majority of his career in sales and in 2006, married into an insurance family.  Spending so many years being around it, he decided to take the plunge by joining Lovins in 2015.   Jamie’s ability to listen to his client’s needs and dedication to excellent service is what makes him an asset to both his clients and co-workers.  He was born and raised in Southwestern Ohio where he still lives with his wife Courtney.  In his leisure time he enjoys playing golf and finding good places to eat.

Bob graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1974 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.  After years in that business, he decided to try his hand at insurance, joining Lovins in 2005.  The career move gave him more of an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.  Bob spends his free time golfing and is an avid college sports fan.

Ralph graduated from Xavier University in 1978 then shortly after married his wife and became a father of four daughters and one son.  He began his career in insurance in 1982 working at few independent agencies before joining the Lovins team in 1999. Over the years Ralph has served on a variety of boards and committees in the Cincinnati area and also spends time volunteering.  He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, gardening, playing golf and watching Xavier basketball.

Lynn began in insurance in 1977 and eventually made her way to Lovins in 2010.  She attended Miami University and afterward went on to get additional training in the field of insurance earning her the designations IIA, (Insurance Institute of America) and AAI (Accredited Advisor in Insurance).  Lynn loves working with people to solve their insurance problems and find them the best solutions for their specific needs.  She has lived in Cincinnati since 1975 with her husband of 40 years, Joe.  Together, they enjoy spending time with their 6 grandchildren – ALL boys.

Jake played golf for the University of Maryland and University of Cincinnati and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Business Economics.  After college, he played golf professionally for 9 years then in 2021 decided to get into the world of insurance.  His love of cultivating new relationships and helping people makes him a great fit for our team!  In his free time he enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and rooting for the Bearcats and Bengals.

John joined Lovins Insurance in 2021, after spending 20+ years with several other Insurance and Financial Services companies, in a variety of capacities. His focus has always been to make sure the client's stated need is accomplished, constantly striving to exceed customer satisfaction. He has lived in Cincinnati since 1973, where he resides with his wife and their three children. In his spare time, John loves coaching youth basketball, watching sports, movies and old reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens.
